Will the drive train from an '01 w/2.2l & MT, swap into a '97 w/2.2l & MT, no problems?

Can you guys tell me if they are the same?

Ok, I had a little time to do some quick searches.

From what I read, the 2000 year changed it quite a bit and this will not be an easy swap. I would have the whole car, but still not worth all the parts swapping. Looked like not only the front sub frame, but most electrical including dash components, if not whole dash.

Can anyone confirm that at least?

Correct.

(The sub-frame stays the same however.)
