In my manual it says that the car (still a 2000 Z24) can be configured to chirp the horn twice when the keyless remote is use to unlock the doors. But, it says to go to my dealer to have this set up... and I don't think it's worth the labor I am sure they will charge me to do it. So, does anyone have any idea how this can be done?

It can only be done with the Tech-II, you could buy a Tech-II but I doubt you'd want to spend thousands where you could spend $45 for the dealer to do it.

Probably only because I can... no good reason really.

Can THAT be done?? If so, definitely something that would be nice to have.

If you were anywhere near ft wayne, indiana i could do it for ya, i had mine to chirp with unlock and lock. and turned it off where it flashed my headlights, now its changed it only chirps when i lock, not lights flash. Simple to do but you need the Tech2 like Ron stated.
