I'm going to inspection next week just wondering if you guys think my car will pass or not:
No Seatbelts (4 point harness's)
New Steering Wheel
No Airbags
No Rear Seat (Rear Seat Delete)
Other than that everything mechanical works and all
no way man, you deff need airbags and seatbelts.
Put back in your stock belts.
No airbags - can pass safety, if you find the right mechanic.
New wheel - sure, the airbag is your problem.
Rear seat is wood, no biggie if it's gone.

'96 was OBDII. You'll fail if the air bags aren't installed and the BCM is reading so. Even if the light is off or disconnected, when they plug into the car, it will come up. Also, NJ hates anything other than stock so your probably boned from the start without the stock belts.

Isnt that the damn truth lol.... Your best bet is to find a mechanic who you can pay off to inspect your car.
