Headlight and Interior Lighting question

Ive got a 2000 Cav sedan and I need to replace both my head lamps so Im just lookin to see what HID headlamps are available for that front end style. There are only two HID types i can find and they are for the 95-99 style. If you guys know of any HID units for 00-02 that would be great. Also, Im thinking about changing the bulbs for my gauges and HVAC controls. Im a little new to that part so Im just curious how clean it looks. Stock obviously they have that green tint, the needles have the orange tint, and the redline portions are reddish. Are the speed hash marks actually white or green for example. If the hash marks are green, then how effective is putting different color bulbs behind them? Personally I would like to go for an RX8 look with white hash marks with a red needle and red redline sections. If someone could shed some light on that for me that would be great. Pics would be even better from those who have done it. Thanks....

don't know about the hid's. cluster lights are led's soldered in the back of the cluster.

So all the lights for the gauge cluster are LEDS? Any idea on type? What about the HVAC controls?

The cluster is damn near impossible to disassemble without breaking the little gears that run the needles. I know it's been covered many many times over the years. Even doing a gauge face replacement is a difficult task on the 00-05 clusters.

If you want orange/red illumination, swap in a Sunfire cluster. Otherwise... try Black Cat Customs for gauge faces, but you'll want to have them install them for you if that's even possible anymore. Changing the bulb colour is not an option. They are bulbs (not LEDs) for illumination, but they are in fact soldered to the circuit board, which you can't get to because you can't get the thing apart without destroying it.
