i bought all autometer gauges since after the 3800sc swap only 2 worked the performance shop said for a GM i nee 0ohms empty and 90 ohms full is this correct or do i have the wrong guage

i know i have a 1/4 tank in the car as my stock fuel guage did work but now it says i have a full tank i thought it might be the groundso i re did the ground

99 Z24 so you know
Gorund goes from the guages GND port to bare metal body ground
Source port i used the purple wire of the back of the factory guages labled FUEL GAUGE SENSOR SIGNAL (B7 on the connector)
Ignition port i used the pink Ignition positive to power the guage up when the key is on used A4 OFF RUN CRANK

anyone put these in

40-240 is very typical on newer GMs actually.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

Yup... that's why when you go from a 95-98 to an Eco swap (or newer, say 99 or 02 whatever harness for the newer gauges and all..) you have to swap the fuel pump assembly.

I did an Eco swap to my 98 Z24, and with a full tank it read below a quarter tank on the 03 gauges...
