I recently won an auction for a oem erebruni cf hood.
Original listing, as you can see I won the item for around $210. Granted I was thinking of picking it up. So the person sends me a email right after I won the item, telling me the item was sold and that he would refund my money if I paid through paypal. Well I didn't pay because of that email, a dispute was filed and basically saying it was a mutual agreement on the product for the reason of item being sold. Even though I really wanted the OEM CF hood I figured I would trust the person and let it slide.
I check again today for cf parts for the bubbamobile, and what do you know the same listing is back up for sale.
New Listing. I figured I let everyone know not to do business with this person.

you could go after him legally considering an ebay auction is a binding contract.

I sent ebay 2 emails today hopefully I get a response this week. I even spoke to a rep online but all he could do is direct me to email ebay. If ebay says he has to give me the item that'll be great a new winter hood

Oh ok, I saw the guy trying to sell the hood on clubcav about a month ago for like $300 I think. I saw pics that he took in front of a chevy dealer, pretty much right off I-695 in the parkville area.

even if he had sold it locally.......you could have charges filed against him. at least an ebay strike.

I am very certain a court would agree to that. And another thing your feedback that you gave me gives me proof of your motives. You scammed ebay to get out of listing fees, and tried to relist the item in order to get more money. You never planned on contacting me about the hood you figured you would get off free. Learn the laws of selling things in a auction. Your dispute that you filed can be reopened and placed in my favor as well. Also I can pay for it right now and you would have to send it me as described.

the douche listed the item again and I reported him to ebay yet again. I hope ebay boots him from there site, and I think its time i go to clubcav and raise a little noise about this guy.

i think .org members should keep "buying" the hood at low prices, then not pay for it. then when he contacts ebay, we can keep saying the same thing: that he refused to sell the item because it had sold "locally" but that we all think that it just didnt sell for enough and hes lying about the local sale. after a few of those strikes against him, he'll get the boot
I already told everyone on clubcav. They think the guy is a @!#$ faggot lol.....
And if you look at his nice little auction I believe Ebay just pulled that @!#$ down again

Thats why they have a reserve auction, this seller is def. shady. Hope you get your hood, and for the correct price, and hope he doesnt break it in half before you get there to pick it up....
John if he does break the hood, I get to keep my money and he is @!#$. I havent heard @!#$ back from him at all since I verbally raped him about the dynamics of selling @!#$ on ebay. Im expecting a few emails today though lets see what happens... I'll keep everyone informed as well...
