Finally Making the car work
Sunday, September 14, 2008 12:19 AM
So my car has been sitting in the garage for quite some time, not running. its got no engine in it, no trans, and not a single wire in it. Stripped the interior down and ground out all the sound deadener and rhino-lining looking @!#$ thats all around the front footwells and near the back seat. I've finally got a GOOD job, so im getting paid fairly decent meaning i can finally work on it again. What i want to know, is what all inside the car needs to be wired up to make it start and run? I'm not concerned about lights, gauges, or anything like that. most of that isn't really imporant since the car is going to be an exclusivly track based car, and i have the aftermarket gauges for whats essential (fuel level, tach, oil pressure, water temp, boost, and a clock lol). So far all i can figure out that needs to be hooked up is the PCM, the wires tothe fuel pump and the ignition/key thing (including the clutch saftey thing). did i forget anything? Sure hope not...

Get all the parts you need in a pile, and drive the car into it.
They will find their way into the correct places.
