i have a 1995 z24 cavalier with a 2.3. the motor has recently went to crap..but i have no luck looking for a motor for this vehicle is there any way a 2.4 motor will bolt up and take place of the 2.3

With engine changes anymore, it's not a question of "bolt up", but of "plug and play". Many will bolt in but vitually none will be plug and play unless they're the same year, make and model. The 2.4 will pretty much bolt in, but you'll have to deal with the electronics, which will vary even between the years of the 2.4 you use. I'm sure this swap has been often done and maybe someone with direct experience will chime in with the common pitfalls.

thanks for the downlow but i understand on the plug n play stuff...i just want to make sure on the other things before i ran into a problem..but the help is better than nothing......

the main thing i guess im trying to find out about is the wiring harness!!!

will i have to replace the whole harness (through out)
or just get the computer and a few other things..
