is the fact that the car will automatically shut off interior lights after 20 minutes. Can't even begin to tell you how many dead batteries this has saved me from. Also, being able to charge your cell phone from the power jack when the car is turned off. My g/fs corolla has neither of these, and lets just say the trickle charger is her (actually, MY) best friend. Lets show some love, and forget about the hate!
my favorite thing about my J, is that hopefully it will be sold and on its way to its new owner in about an hour!
That it's soo cheap to mod/fix.
That it's so
easy to fix, and replacement parts are so cheap and plentiful.

That is has this whinning noise coming from it.
FU Tuning
The nostalgia of it.
I remember when my parents brought it home 13 years ago. How my dad babied it, and now its mine to take care of.
That's what I love about my J.

What I hate most about J's. 75% of the owners.
the best thing is the remainder of the community that is knowledgeable and actually willing to help out.
plus being supercharged and having a bunch of other locals who are into jbodies make up for the rest
Eat my shift

I moved on 2 years ago. But finally now just selling it.
The look of shock and disgust on blonde teenage bitches talking on their phones instead of paying attention to the road when I blow by them on full boost with the wastegate dump open.
I also likes the sexy compressor whine on load...

cheap to fix? cheap to mod? have you guys never worked on an old 350? starter for a J. 150. starter for a 78 camaro 350, 30 bucks. header for cavalier, 180 for a cheap one. set of headerS for an 81 camaro. twice as much pipe, for 99 dollars. they aren't as cheap as you think

Wanna pick up parts for a WRX/STI, EVO, Supra, LS1, etc? Yes there are cheaper cars to mod, but J are in the lower end of the spectrum of cost to mod.
but the thing is, with an sti, evo, supra or ls1, you will actually be fast

So just because Fetter mods a cav means it's slow?
no. but how much money did he put into it? dollar for dollar, the others cars will always be faster. you put 10K in a cavalier you run 12-13s. you put 10 grand in an LS1 your running 10s

Pick a single part for a cav and then pick the same part for a higher end car. Which one costs more. 10k goes alot farther on a cav than an LS1.

The thing I love about my J is that it's mine.
All mine.
It's still my dream car that is slowly coming true.
