its a 02 with the eco, or an 03 with a front end swap. who cares. peeps make mistakes.
ecos did come in late 02 cars.
Well, it does say salvage title, so Im assuming that it is really a 03 just with a 00-02 (since it was probably cheaper) front end. At least now you know where it was hit from
it says its in the desecptrion its a salvage title so the front end probley got hit and he put on an 02 front insted. is that the win your talking about?
the eco was only in the the ls sports though.. meaning that he changed the chrome wheels, front bumper cover, and ditched the lips in addition to swapping the trunk/tails/rear bumper
it's an 03 with the 02 headlights/bumper cover.
HA! We all posted at the exact same time!!!
Who cares looks like every other Cavalier on Craigslist.
Parting out and for sale. | Thanks JBO!
I'm pretty sure the Eco was not just in the LS Sports. I might be wrong, but i swear the 2.2 ecotec took over as the sole motor in ALL j-bodies when it came out.

Only ls sports in 02 were equipped with eco's, I think the 02 canadian Z24's were eco's also

LMAO
But seriously, yeah its an 03, must have had front end damage, they replaced the front with an 00-02. I guess if you like the 00-02 Sedan and want an eco, this is the car for you

Wasn't the ECO the only engine from 03+? Regardless of trim.
i find it amusing that SHOoff has nothing better to do but follow me around & be an unhelpful dick in even cross-forum. - Jon Mick
the eco was avalible in 02 ONLY for the LSS models in the states, not sure abt.canada. then in 03 on it didnt matter what trim level u got, it had a eco. im not sure abt sunfires but i know for them in 03+ they all got eco's and i think in 02 the later GT models were the only ones getting them.
are you guys really arguing about eco model trims? What is this? 2005?
'02 Cavaliers received the 2200 in the base model and the LS (Z24 previously) got the 2.2L Ecotec as the LD9 and Z24 moniker were scrapped after the '01 model year.
'02 Sunfire SE's received the 2200 and the GT got the 2.2L Ecotec. The 2.2 Ecotec was optional for the SE.
it's a cavalier? Duh. lol. No need to argue year to year changes. Most of us know this already if we actually are on a forum for j-bodys. Not like any of us really have a life. Hope I offended somebody that wants to argue other wise, just means I proved my point. I love internet drama. lol.

First half of '02 had the Z24 with the LD9. Second half had the LS Sport with the Eco.
