i ask what kinda mileage you guys get because i took a 59 mile trip to visit a friend and filled up before i left and when i got there i filled up again in 59 miles i used 1.187 gallons so i got 51mpg on the hwy doing 60-70mph whole way. best ive ever gotten about 34 thats in town this was my first time keeping track on hwy. its a 96 5sp 2.2l i know my math is correct. i checked 4 times because i couldnt believe it. does anyone else see numbers like that? thanks
Last I got on mine was 23mpg. Heavily abused.

59 miles divided by 1.187 gallons =
49.7 mpg, not 51 mpg
.
On my last tank I got
30.6 mpg on my '09 Vibe GT 2.4L automatic with 50% city / 50% highway driving. The only engine mod is a K&N Typhoon CAI with an AEM Dry Flow air filter.

Personally, I wouldn't trust such a small sample size for calculating mileage. Way too many variables...
You have no idea if the shutoff was at the exact same point because you used two different pumps, or if they were both 100% accurate, so maybe you had more or less than just 1.187 gallons.
i thought about doing the same thing on the way back and seeing what i got on the way back to. either way its gettn good mileage! hahah i just hope it doesnt stop doing good.
34-36 under 2500 rpm when I drive like a granny
20-26 when I drive aggressive and hit boost. Closer to 20 if its a lot of boosting.

On average im around 7.0L/100km (33.6mpg) of mixed city and highway driving.
Best I ever had was 5.2L/100km (45.2mpg) But that was while I was driving through the praries. So an entire tank of flat ground doing 110km/h (70mph). There were times where I was on the Trans Canada Highway where I wouldn't need to touch the brakes for 700+km
I don't own a J anymore but my SS is getting 22-23 city and 32-33 on the highway
i dont own a j anymore either but my blazer does get about 17-20 city and 23-26 highway.............32 if i get behind a semi haha
34MPG while running rich in the top end and beating the piss out of it after it sat all winter totally awesome
JBO since July 30, 2001
Back and forth to work, 27 mpg. On trips from Seattle to Missoula, 37-40.
well ive driven alot this weekend and each run drove differently. some hard driving with ac some conservative driving no ac some regular driving with and without ac and have figured my average to be about 38mpg but if i drive good the whole time i can get 44 no prob.
Man.... My trip over the weekend with 90+ degrees and humidity was around 30 mpg's. But it was also going 70 mph through nothing but mountains. Up hill, down hill, up hill, down hill... Amazing drive, but killer on the fuel.
If I'm city driving, USUALLY anywhere from 25-27. Most highway is around 31-33. I've seen as high as 36. I've also seen as low as 22. My most consistent numbers are 26 city 32 highway. I mean consistant in that's what I see most of the time.
Now, the Mazda we just got, the best i've seen so far is 37 highway. The worst I've seen is 30 city. I love that little zippy thing.
Got 26 with a bad coil and cracked spark plug.
well i drive 76+ miles round trip every week day to school and mine will use 1/8 of a tank for the whole trip when its above half a tank, for some reason it uses a quarter after half but i havnt accuratly recorded my fuel milage
about 25 mpg with mixed driving..
Eat my shift
I usually get about 26 MPG in mixed city/freeway driving. Probably more like 22-23 in city driving. I've gotten as high as 37 MPG on long interstate trips, but probably more like 32-33 on the freeway. No one ever seems to stick to the speed limit in Michigan, so we crank it up to 80+ MPH. Hard on fuel that way. When I'm out of state, I slow down to 70 or so, and my mileage goes back up.

'97 Cavy Beater-still running like a champ!
'04 Sunfire - my kid's car, but I get the bills...
'09 Pontiac G6 - Sport Package 1
about 10km/litre...not sure what that is in miles...
Best I've ever gotten in the Sunfire was 42mpg.
Got 37mpg recently...but I made a 400mi trip in just under 5.5 hours, so I was moving pretty good.
Best I've gotten in my truck was 18mpg all highway LOL
Nobody's sayin what engines they have. . .. what should I expect for HWY from my BerettaGT 6-cyl, automatic? Appreciate your input.
best i ever got in my cavalier was 82mpg highway and 61mpg in town.
im so cool.
It's nice to be injected but I love being blown.
And this is where there was gravity present??
Most of the people who post here are 4 cyl owners.
Id expect about 25 or 26 on the highway out of a V6 Beretta.
