Hey guys and gals looks like I have found a replacement car it's a 96 Sunfire gt for 1500 it already has a lot of mods done and I was wondering should I keep my ecotec and trans ,wiring and such for a future swap . I've heard 2.4s are reliable as long as u take care of them?
That is accurate, I have a 2.4 with 140k on it and it runs just as strong as it did the first day i got it.
Good to know. The 05 was a great car it's repairable , sure will miss it going to part it out .
You call 140k high??? hahah my 97 sunfire se 2.4 auto has 245k and counting... use it as a daily driver putting 500 miles a week =) 2.4 i could ask for better so i bought a 01 chevy z24 supercharged.
Even better to know lol. The 96 I'm getn has only 177,000 on it so that's cool
heh mine has 184.680 miles on it and the only thing i had to replace was misc manual gear box parts like a clutch, flywheel, master cylinder and shifter cables
Well the 96 I'm getn has a lot of mods done and new parts so I'm excited about getn a 2.4 and seeing how good it is.
Well my tax money won't be in on time to buy the gt so I'm back to square one !
badass sunflower ill see you on the road =)
Look like my rims.
Lets get a thread of the GT going!
