I just had a 95 Sunfire alternator installed on my 95 Grand AM for the m45 but the alternator is not charging the battery. I also have the the plug to the alternator for the sunfire. I am going from from a 3 prong to a 4 prong. Does anybody know the order of the wires (3 wires) that need to be hooked up to the plug or do I need a different plug?

I know Matt has done this to his 95 GA GT that is running the m45. For someone reason, he has not been around the boards or FB often.
Here is the last info I received from him:
1995 J-body 2.3 alternator - from 1995 Chevy Cavalier Z24 or Pontiac Sunfire GT with the 2.3 engine - The primary difference you'll notice: the alternator you have now has external fan fins, while the 95 J-body version has internal.
- The plug for a LD9 alternator, with about 6" of wire will work on it. Looks like this:
