Guys, I'll be setting off next week for a cross-country trip with my brother. I'm bringing along my Akita dog. Is it better to put him on a harness or should I just place a seat cover at the back seat? I'm trying to avoid scratches on my car's seat. Any thoughts?
Just an update guys, I found this quilted
dog seat cover when I was browsing the net. I believe it will fit on my car's back seat. Also, I think my dog will feel comfortable lying on it since it's quilted. What do you think? Would this be a good idea at all?
I think I would get one of the hammock styles that covers the entire rear passenger compartment. Dogs tend to shed a lot so covering the entire area will keep the hair mostly confined to the cover. Plus, if it was to get sick,,, well, I'm sure you get my point.
