Okay, last summer i pretty much gave up on getting my cavalier running again because the theft system wouldn't allow me to start my car, well after spending tons of money on parts and even gauge clusters, i decided to replace the crank sensor i started it up and vroom vroom, and then it died, but it's supposed to....then i let it sit until the theft system light stopped blinking and sat still then i turned the ignition off and then gave it a second and tried starting it again.....vroom vroom! LOL BITCHES! I'm so happy i got the Z running again! I have to do some things to it still like bleed the brakes and fix a throttle issue i've got, then i'll be game! So if anyone is having problems like i did then try this, and i hope the best of luck to you....also, when taking out the sensor, it may be a little rotted in there, so just pull and twist on it until theres a gap big enough to drop some oil in there, let it sit for a minute and then play tug of war, if the sensor does break just get pliers and pull it out, hope this helps someone!
