So last week i bought fuel from a lodge which had just had there tanks filled.. i think there was condensation and caused water in my fuel system.. so i filled up because my light was on E.. this is like the 10th time i run that low yes i know its not good.. so anyways i brake down assume my fuel is full of water and am able to start it again run for 15 min then stall and so forth and so on.. so i changed my fuel filter thinkin it may have picked up stuff from the bottom of the tank from runnin low so many times and since i changed that i cant even start my car anymore.. it wants to fire but wont.. i used most of that @!#$ty fuel before changing the filter too and added some good fuel.. also i dont think its my fuel pump because i can hear it going everytime i hit the ignition over.. any ideas as to what may be my problem im open for sudgestions.. car is outside right now with all my tools just need a little input
Double check that fuel pump. And fill out your registry so we know what car you have. RARELY do you get condensation in fuel from tanks.
Also i removed the white housing where your coilpacks are.. and its very black could this possibly have something to do with it or ? and how do i tell if they are okay
just cuz you hear your pump running, dont mean its pumping. the motor may work, but the pump itself could be shot from crap in the tank. you never fill up during, or shortly after a fuel station has been re-fueled, it stirs up the contaminents in their fuel tanks, which then run through your pump and mess it up.
and it is possible that the coil cover is causing a problem.
I was told i should disconnect the lines from the fuel rail and let them drain because i may have clogged them.. im just running out of ideas as to how to get this car started i have spark so thats not an issue.. i put fuel line anti-freeze incase they where frozen and still nothing.. i checked that valve and the vacuum lines they seem fine.. i just need some more ideas...
