Sup guys, i own a 2.2L cobalt sedan which is lightly modded but my girl has a 98 2.2L cavy which i use as a learner car before i try something on mine haha but anyways i was wondering how to change the brake rotors on it? ive taken my calibers on my car off so i assume there about the same but havnt attempted the rotors yet. any advice? thanks guys
simple.
1) jack car up
2) remove wheel
3) remove caliper (2 bolts on back of caliper, use 3/8" allen key to loosen the bolts)
4) may need to bang on the rotor with a mallet to loosen it up but once the caliper is off the rotor just pulls off
5) replace everything in reverse order
6) pump the brakes back up
revive from the dead, there is no nut on the hub holding on the rotor? im going to the scrap yard and am wonderin if i need a big adjustable wrench, i have the 3/8s allen and the BFH incase but am wonderin about that, thanks for any input

why bother? last time i inquired about having rotors cut, the CHEAPEST i found was $30/ disc. when i can get rotors for cheaper than cutting, makes no sense...
