idle stall.

ok heres the basic layout of whats goin on with my car.

when i start the car, it starts fine. higher idle at like 1300 or so like normal, then slowly decends after a few seconds. no problem there.

after about 1-2 minutes of the car warming up (engine temp gauge hasnt even moved yet) the car will begin to chug... sometimes it struggles and chugs down to about 500 RPM then corrects itself and jumped the idle up to like 1300 again and comes back down... even when it does that, it passes idle and wants to chug down to 500 again.

and if it dosent do that, it just chugs and dies on the spot.

i have no clue where to begin to troubleshoot this problem.

currently i am running the GM 2.4L supercharger reflash with the GM 310cc injectors and GM 2bar MAP that comes with the kit, however the supercharger has been taken off. regardless, this problem occured plenty when s/c was still on the car.

where should i begin troubleshooting this? could it be a bad sensor somewhere?

any and all help is appreciated.

doubtfull. it was replaced recently.

and i had a spare laying around, still did the same thing.

car runs perfectly fine after its warmed up.

seams just the beginning warm up stage is giving it trouble.

so strange and annoying.

im having the same problem, i cant figure it out.

i had the bosch platinums in there, which are horrible plugs, so i changed them out today, and now the car wont even start!

i had that problem..as many others...usually find out that the person with the problem has recently changed their 02 sensor and probably used a bosch sensor(this includes ANY sensors from advance or autozone)...if you have done this take it out immediatly! and replace with ac delco 02 sensor...after you do that look into your throttle postion sensor aka TPS but if you idle isnt high all the time thats probably not the case
...tell me, does the rpm drop to almost dying even when your driving right after start up?

holy crap!. i recently changed my 02 sensor when this happened! but i got AC delco. i changed my MAP sensor and the car ran fine but im not too sure because i didnt get to run the car too long. This is because the day i changed the map sensor i got rear ended pretty bad that night and the car might get written off.

Wow! I totally think this o2 sensor thing could be my cars stalling problem. Whats the deal with the bosch o2 sensors? My car will sometimes die when I am coming to a stop and it will try to catch sometimes. It all started after I installed my 2.5" exhaust and the new o2 sensors so I think the sensors could be the problem.

i just had the same problem fixed yesterday..mine was due to the AFR gauge wire interfering with the o2 sensor, unhooked AFR wire, idled great, re hooked up, died out, ive had this guage for 4 month w/ no problem, wierd it happend out of the blue.
