so as the title says im having a problem with oil in my intake tube....it isnt enough to really run low but still its there. the car does not smoke at all. my teacher said its blowby but is there any quick way to fix this or should i even worry?
Check your Oil / Air Separator...
im not sure how the setup is in the eco... but heres the instructions for the 2.4 which is a simularly setup motor

yeah i saw those a minute ago but i wasnt sure like you said where to find it on the eco. is it expensive to replace? labor isnt a problem i can do all that
This is normal from what I have been told...I have the same thing on my eco...and its still fine..There is no..PCV Valve like on old cars..All it is doing is pulling the oil vapers throught the tube sucks it through the intake and burns it through the motor...If you have lots thats not good..But you will always haave some there..But this is only what I have been told..Mine has 140 thousand KM on it and it seems fine..Best of luck..

yeah my 03 had at least a qt or more of oil in the intake tube then my cat was clogged. I found out this is common and there is a orfice in the intake between the middle cyl that gets clogged causeing oil burning at higher rpm's and filling up the air intake tube.
