Okay I know this is probably the wrong section to post this and I'm sorry in advance,

I have a 2001 Sunfire Gt, it a 5 speed, and a couple of days ago my clutch started to make a clicking noise every time I put in down? It never did it before why is it making noises all of a sudden? It does it when I put the clutch down to shift, break, turn the car on, all the time. Any ideas what the problem could be if there is one?

Because I wasn't sure what was the right fourm, and obvisoly some else didn't either since my post was moved twice.

Could just be the pedal return spring making noise, mine squeaks sometimes. rub some Lubriplate (white assembly grease) into the pedal return spring and work the pedal in and out a few times.
