My check engine light came on. My buddy plugged it in and it read o2 sensor heater circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 2. Other than it anal raping my gas mileage how much is this going to cost me to get fixed?? I know the part is north of $100 alone and I think my pal is going to do it for me but how much would it cost if I brought it to a shop?

Its easy to replace, so if a shop charged you more than about $30 in labor then you need to find another shop.

There's only 2 sensors, and they are both easily replaceable on a lift.
