I have had my 05 cavalier since it was new. A first it was great intill about 9 thousand miles then it started drivign funny on the hihgway and making a funny buzz sound when i shifter gears really fast since then ive gone throught a living hell of goign to the dealer at least 12 times. For temorary fixes everytime they told me it was fine i have about 44 xxx miles on it now. I am so @!#$ign sick of this @!#$ why me. Right now the car is unstable and shalkes above 55mph and makes a funny noise when shifting quickly. This is makign me so unhappy. What shoudl i do i called the 1 800 chevy number they sounded so concerened untill they contacted the dealer then they told me it was fine.

for the lemon law to take effect.....the same exact problem has to be documented 3 times. google lemon law and you should find places that will help you....the dealer is not going to help you.

Check for anything dirt/snow/ice in the rims and have your tire balanced and equal air pressure in all of them.
Your problems seem to be alot more because you don't take care of your car than being a lemon.

Shifting too quickly, funny noise? This is not a race car, its an economy car, it was designed to be driven under normal circumstances, if you want to shift like a crazed maniac, like your in the indy 500, buy a ferrari.
As for the shaking, your tires could be bad. You might have a broken belt in one of your tires. If you have never changed your tires after 44k miles, and with your driving habits, you might want to.
Haha.
BUT IT'S SUPPOSED TO LAST 400 000 MILES WITH NO PROBLEMS!@!@!
I've noticed quality issues though, my 1990 was great except the electrical system, my 1996 was a DOG; everything was shoddy on it, my 1998 is incredible - not a single problem and the highest mileage of any car I've ever owned.
Also:
My '96 was manufactured in USA
My '98 was manufactured in Mexico
Go figure, hehe
Whats the first number of your VIN? To the est of my knowledge the J car was made in Ohio until the few 05s were produced. My 98 came out of Ohio as did my first one (00), and my 02.
I have never seen one claim by GM about the car lasting 400K miles.
If you hate the cars so much please go elsewhere. Every post I have seen of yours seems to be bashing the car in some way.
1: Is your car a maual or auto?
2: What kind of tires does it have?

We all drive in a yellow Cavalier...
Sounds like a tire issue to me....
