how do I know when my cv joint is going bad? I am thinking this is my problem, when I hit a little bump in the road I hear a high pitched clunk from the drivers side, I first thought it was something to do with the suspension, but all is intact and no loose bolts.. Now after a few hard runs from a stop light, I can hear this noise everytime I "get on the gas". So, how do I check to see if my problem is the cv joints, or suspension?

usually when a CV joint goes it clicks whenu turn a corner, Also if u got a tonr CV boot it will also need to be replace soon.
hmmm, I do have some clicking when I am at full turn. Would it do it when i turn a litle bbit or turn alot? I didnt see any torn boots. MAybe I will run it by the shop and let them take a look at it.
