So after my car was lowered incorrectly before I got it and I blew out my passenger side axle, I got both the axle and the suspension fixed. It now appears my drivers side CV joint is going. It's been clicking for a while and didn't seem to be getting any worse until recently. Now I feel like it's getting worse, and I'd like to fix it before I have to pay not only for the joint but also a tow trip.
I'm wondering how complicated these things are to fix and/or expense. As in my other post I've mentioned that I've only installed a short ram and a shifter, so keep my lack of mechanical ability in mind. I'll probably end up paying somebody to do it because I think it'll probably be too hard, but I'm just looking for opinions.
Also, I have a 95-01 Haynes manual in .pdf format which in theory seems great, except that I have an '02. I'm also wondering if anybody has an available manual in any format for an '02. Thanks.
