i started my car this morning and i had a battery light come on, so i thought it might just be low, so i replaced it, still on with a brand new batt. plus when i go down the road alittle my abs light then comes on! anyone know why these might be comin on with a new batt? please help!
that usually has nothing to do with the battery, but an indication that the alternator is faulty. as for the ABS light, likely a wheel sensor.

auto parts stores check alt's and batteries for free...I know O'reilly's can do it right on the car. might want to start there

well didnt have time to run by oreillys or autozone, stopped and got gas on way to work and car wouldnt start back up, got jumped off to make it to work for the night, then it happened.....batt, abs, and airbag light came on, then gauges wipers windows cd everything went out and wouldnt work, motor barely ran then parking brake light came on and cluster went out completely and now its sittin in a parkin lot waitin on a tow. does this sound like a alternator, cause both batts were new.
Im pretty sure that its the alternator i had that same thing happen to me.
ok thanks guys, does anyone know a good brand alternator to put on it? or perhaps a high output? and i guess this is perfect time to do the Big 3 upgrade.

well right now i am running a 2400w amp for my subs and a 600w for my highs and mids and things do dim alittle much, but i do plan on goin bigger in the future.
wow. for starters, thats a big a$$ sound system. sounds like it would be fun to have
but it DEFINATELY sounds like an alternator and stock these cars have a 105 amp one. a good brand would be bosch or autolite. its hard to find a higher amp one at the store, you might have to have one custom built. most electric shops or auto shops would be happy to do this.

most likely not. I just don't get people when they have idiot lights on in their car they still drive it. oh and get a CAP for ur system.
well the j's i have had throw idiot lights alot and it never even means anything, they like to play games with me sometimes. but aint no way im gettin a cap, i seen one blow out the whole side of a trunk before, i dont like ridin with dynamite in my trunk.
