i have a 1996 sunfire with a 2.2 ohv and she got no spark and im gonna start with the coil but the replacement one i have is off of a 1998 sunfire with a 2200sfi i already know that they changed the location of the coil but i was wondering if they changed the plug that comes off of the wiring harness aswell, also i have the airbags removed to reduce weight i was wondering if by doing that would the bcm tell the pcm to shut down spark because i have this done, and what other possibility's may cause this in case replacing the coil does not work, also it was working fine till it was a very hot day and i did a phat hand brake slide and parked it and shut it off and when i tried to start it again she had no go, p.s. i have a leaking fuel injector o -ring but it is getting fuel so i know it is something to do with the ignition. thanks for your help in advance.... one more question does the 2.2ohv have a timing belt or a chain like that mistake they put in those quads
why is the chain a mistake? stretches a bit but wont break like a belt and no maintenance lol
