okay so im changing the head gasket got the head off and i have to get it re decked cuz its warped a lil and i no i gotta replace the gasket but what about the studds or bolts or what

yes, the head bolts are TTY, meaning 1 time use.

they are like $20 at a parts store....well worth the $$

would I need new bolts to change a headgasket on a 2.4 ld9??? What and all is needed? Just the head gasket and some lock-tite for the oe bolts? Thinking about doing it tomorrow to hopefully cure my sputtering and hesitation..

Yes U need new head bolts on a 2.4l LD9 also ,about $27 @ autozone and a gasket set $200

Anytime the head bolts are removed, install new ones. Torque them in the correct order too. Might as well get out the dremel since you got the head off...
