Yeh, Im havin this whistling noise ( louder when high rmp ) n just cant figure out where its coming from! .. I got this z24 few weeks ago and the water pump was gone, soo i changed that, while i was there i also changes the timing chain, sprockets and tension tighters! Every runs good.. except for that noise, i thought It was pulleys or belt so i replaced them, but didnt help! can it be that the chain in too tight ?.. will it stretch by Itself?.. The noise is coming somewhere on that side, can someone plz help me..

belt tensioner maybe? The bearing might be going out or possibly the alternator if the noise is on that side for sure. Other wise i have no clue

I know my aftermarket intake makes a whinning noise, does this one have an aftermarket intake tube and filter?
