I was wondering how easy of a task and what would this involve besides,
1- Adding Coolant Flush Solution
2- Run for 10 minutes
3- Raise the car After shutting down the engine
4- Raising the car and securing w/ Jack stands.
5- Unlocking/Unscrewing the drain plug. Letting it drain into a non-leaking container
6- Replacing Coolant (store-bought)
7- Topping up with water (is it any kind of water? Distilled) and how much Coolant/Anti-Freeze
8- Replace the Cap and run it for a few minutes to see if everything runs fine?
Is there anything I missed. It's been a while since I did this type of maintenance (Haven't driven a car for a while) That's why I asked.
run it without the cap on to let the air out untill it gets to normal running temp. then replace the cap and shut it off.
Did your car come with Dex-Cool? If it did you may want to use different coolant since Dex-Cool requires a bit more looking after to keep it from destroying parts of your car.

Are these cars different from all the other cars that have been issued a settlement for a class action suit against GM for damage caused by Dex-Cool?
