1st of all sorry about my bad english... if someone figure out how to fix that please tell me =/... mine its a 3 speed aut trans... when i pull just a littl the acel pedal it goes up from 1000 to 2000rmp instantly... i never get like 1500rpm... if i drive it like 40mp/h without pressing the acel pedal it suppose to be at 1200rpm but not, now it is over 2000rpm always... and when i get to a stop the car keep on 2000rpm like for 5 seconds until it downs to 800-1000rpm... or for example when im driving like at 60mp/h and i put on "neutral" it supppose to down to 1000rpm but not... it keeps over 2000rpm... what could be my problem???

Hey man, sounds similar to my problem, which Minitransam had a solution for... here is a link to our discussion back and forth. It fixed mine (mine was idling at about 1500-1800 RPM) and probably saved my clutch, not to mention my brakes...

Hope this helps.
PS - you will need to take off the intake body above the throttle body, which will leave the intake sucking on unfiltered air. don't run it long like this... I just did this while the car was running, and unplugged the TPS (throttle position sensor). I manually moved the throttle body by hand to reve the car up a few times, and ensure the RPM's were falling back down to about 800 ish. Then i plugged the TPS back in. Turn off the car. disconnect the battery (i let mine sit for about an hour one time and it didn't work, had to do it all agian and let it sit for almost 4 hours the second time). reconnect battery. start car. RPM should be idling normally... take it for a rip and see if it's still idling high. If so, then I'm outta ideas. Good luck man.
