okay so i had a blown head gasket
got al that takin care of
so my oil was full of water
so i changed the oil
with the house brand, theirs still a little water in it
im goning to auto zone and getting more oil
should i get better oil or just get house brand this time
and what type of coolant should i get i remember reading a certin kind isnt good?
i have a 98 ohv 2200

Use cheap oil until all the coolant is gone, and I would use dex-cool coolant, but this is just my preference, some like to use the green stuff... Once all the coolant is out of the oil, then change it one more time with good oil, but what ever you do, dont use water in your cooling system, it will rust up... I found this out the hard way!

The green stuff is better because it isn't as hard on seal and lines as dexcool. The thing is if you change to green you need to flush your entire cooling system. Hoke a hose up to it and get everything out.


The proper way of using the word seen. It is not I seen it that would be I saw it. He has seen the car is the right way to use the word. English class is Cool. By the way thats my sig

Hey M-1 I saw your sig about the word seen and the word saw, but you also can't spell "hoke".... Haha! Just funny to me.
