What's different from a 95 to other year 2.2?

Hey guys

I have a 95 Sunfire with a blown 2.2. I bought a new engine that was supposed to be out of a 97, but it has a few different sensors, etc. Everything looks like it could swap over though. What are the differences between years? I was told that 92-97 would work. The main things I can see different is the sensors on the rear of the engine by the coil packs are different, the EGR is totally different, and the water neck is different. Can anyone help me sort this out?

a lot is different, a lot! water passages in the block, 2nd 02 sensor, pick up a service manual and it will tell you all the eletrical differences.

So all this is different to a 97?

Is it possible to make it work? I don't have access to a service manual, I'm 2 hours from the nearest city. Is the head the same? My bottom end on the other one was fine, just the timing chain broke and bent the valves. If the head is the same, maybe I'll just switch that?

Thanks for your help Jason!
