I rebuilt my 2200 Engine recently and had a knock on 1st run-up. Sounds like it is coming from the flex plate or converter. When the car is running my flex plate has a visible wobble. So I pulled motor back out, put flex plate on flat surface and it was off by a 1/16 Inch. I can push in on my torque converter about 1/16 inch and reproduce what seems like the sound. Is that normal 4 a converter. I visualize that flex plate pushing the converter in enough to cause the knock. Please shed some light on this subject.. Thanx
