The mother in laws 97 Sunfire door hinge is shot. Got a new one from a friend. Can anyone tell me how to change them???????? Its drivers side bottom.................thanks, Marty
Best way to tackle, The door hinge, Is to have a buddy to hold to the door while you undo the bolts on the door, Its a pretty easy fix. by using a wrench should be all about you need. Then install in reverse method youre done.

when i changed mine i used a jack and a 2x4 to hold the door up so that you dont have to hold the door up the whole time that the door is off of the hinges

I actually used my dad to hold the door when i changed one on my old 96' cav, but i did the same thing.
Thanks, the wifes brothers coming over to so i,ll get him to hold the door up while I change it...........give him something to do!!!!!!lol
i didnt have a second set of hands for when i replaced both hinges on my vert. so i just put a rag on a jack and used the jack to support the door. and replaced one hinge at at time.
