I have a 97 sunfire GT 2.4 5spd with 94000 km's on it.
I've noticed lately that it bogs most noticebly in first till it gets around 2.5/3000 rpm, it also feels like something is just holding it back all the time.
There is also like a bubbly sound when I start it in the morning (it also revs to 2/2.5krpm for a few secs then settles back to 1500,normal?)
The bubbly sound stops when I engage the clutch but comes back as soon as I disengage it, and it stops completely when I start driving.
Could the bubbly sound be the slave cylinder rattling around?
If so should it be cause for concern?
What are the possible reasons for the bogging?
-fuel pump?
-fuel filter?
-fuel injectors?
-coil pack?
(have new spark plugs)
Anything else?
Sorry if the post seems to drag on.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Forgot to add that the check engine light is not coming on and it doesn't stall or missfire (atleast not that I can notice)
