okay just changed my head gasket
i get it back together
also had to replace altinater
run my car and i see water byt the head
so im thinging sh!t
well i found out
@!#$ is leaking frommy altinater
im confuzed?
any ever had this happpen when they bought a new altinater

There is definitely not water coming from your alternator. It could be a hole in a coolant hose or it could be a crappy head job.

yeah there is no way there is water coming from the alt, unless you got the water cooled one (HA! just kidding man) but seriously, there could be a tiny hole in a coolant hose causing he water to shoot upward and hit the alternator, thats really all i can come up with without going down to the garage to look at mine. hope this helps-matt

okay i have a ohv right uder the alt there is coolant or something
i dry it off with a paper towl come back 5 min later its back
i pull it out to the shop take the alt off not thinking anything of the alt but to get a better look down there
and its bone dry under there been sitting there for a day still bone dry but when the alt is on there is come back like every 5 min
idk if theres like grease or anything in the altinater
idk i prolly sound like a dumb ass but idk
