NEED HELP WITH A 2.2 sunfire

Ok heres the deal. I have a 1996 pontiac sunfire with a 2.2 and 3 speed auto trans. The car has 136,XXX miles on it. The car runs bad and sometimes dies. It will start from a dead cold start in the morning and run for about an hour then it starts to run bad. It ideals rough and trys to die. After i shut the car off it will start up and run fine for about 3/4 of a mile then it will try to die. The rpms drop and car will die if im not rolling fast enough. When the car does die its weird because if I wait 20 mins and try to start it will fire right up but if I try to start it right after it dies i have to pump the gas like a crazy man to get the car turned over. Its really had to get started after it dies. Also there is a THEFT SYSTEM light that comes on when the car dies and stays on until I leave it sit overnight. I have done a ton of work to this car and the problem still goes on. I have changed The plugs wires coilpacks. I tried swapping out the computer but the computer i bought did not turn my engine over. I have been going through codes like crazy. I have replaced the O2 sensor Behind the cat. I have put a new throttle positioning sensor. I have put a new crank sensor into it. The only thing I havent done is change the fuel filter. I havent changed it because it looks new. The car seem to act up extra bad on hot days. My check engine light is on and the only code showing up on it is a 71 system lean code. I dont know whats going on. Can anyone help? Im out of ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEW PARTS

coil-packs
wire/boots
acdelco plugs
throttle positioning sensor
02 sensores(both on the manifold and behind the cat)
crank sensore
new exhaust from the cat back including a new cat.

might want to check your fuel pressure, and change the fuel filter. also throw so BG 44K in the tank. that stuff is worth every penny!
also just a thought check your air filter too. i know this sounds kinda basic, but most people forget to check the simple things first. hope that helps.

you can only go as fast as the slowest person in front of you.

You might want to take a look at the injectors as well, maybe when one or more is sticking closed, that might explain the lean condition code. You can take those to a shop and get them tested.

Good luck getting it fixed, let us know what it was
