and im rtarded again, a search for "Spark Plug Gap" revealed where i could find my answer. Before i posted this i tried "2.2L Spark Plug Gap"...didnt work so hot. Sorry guys, i have been doing the online forum thing for a long time...and i know how frustrating it can be when noone searches.

.060 ,1998 and earlier...2.2 OHV...Thats what it has in the Haynes underwear manual.Your owners manual might have it or maybe on a under hood sticker.
.035 is what i gapped them at in my old 96' LN2. It should say somewhere in the owners manual.

thats sounds right for the plug gap @ 0.060.
As far as I know, owners, of those high, jacked-up pickups called "mudders" have found out....
E 3 spark plugs are "fixed"...
