So I tried u sing my rear defrost and it doesn't work. Is this a common problem and what can I do to fix it??

does it not work at all or does like half the window work? one of the metal lines in the rear window could be split

Mine burned up at the HVAC coming off the defrost button...
Check under the carpet by the hood release. There's a green connector down there. The larger gauge wires are for the defrost. When mine quit it had fried the pin in the connector (I've heard o this more than once). Check if there's power going into and out of the connector. If the power is going in but not out cut the wires out of the connector and splice them together.
