Hey guys.
Car has been burning more oil as of late and I'd like to take a look at the separator just to make sure it's not gunked up somehow and not letting oil drain back into the pan. Is this a difficult thing to remove? Does the intake need to come off or can I get at it from the bottom?
never tried to take only the separator off. even if you have to take the intake off, its not that hard.
When I replaced my separator I took off the intake manifold just to make it easier. As stated though, it really isn't too difficult to remove. After you get that out of the way I believe it is four or five bolts that hold the separator to the block. Good luck!
