I KNOW THIS IS THE WRONG FORUM....THIS IS URGENT THOUGH SO DON'T GET YOUR PANTIES IN A BUNCH PLEASE! lol

Just as title reads...My window module is not working...Driver window will only go down. Up does not work. I need to know which connections to bridge to roll up the driver window...this is urgent and there is no time for searching because it is snowing out and getting in my car. Does anyone know off the top of your head which wires to connections to bridge on the plug that goes into the window switch module?

take off the door panel... unclip the connector on the motor. Take 2 wires... one 12v and one ground. touch them to the terminals on the motor. If the motor doesn't go up switch the wires around and try again. Thats what i did when my passenger side switch did the same thing.

Left (drivers side) is:
Brown wire to Dark Blue from the switch.

That should work. If not, try brown to every other wire EXCEPT BLACK, and then try black to every wire except brown. But brown to dark blue via my diagram is drivers side up.

This same thing happened to me as well last winter, and the problem was that the wiring for the motor goes through from the center of the car to where the door is attached with the hinges and the one wire was severed from being bent so many times from the opening and closing of the door

99.9999999% its the motor not the switch

best is to lift the glass and try and get the motor to lift the window , this will take a while , other option is taking the window off the regulator track and push the window up and block it with a 2x4 or something

So what's the verdict? Did you get the window up?

Seth was closest... you'd need a jumper from the brown wire at pin H (+12V power) to the dark blue wire at pin E to put the driver's window up. That's assuming the power isn't getting through the switch. If the ground is missing, you'd also need a jumper from the black wire at pin G (ground) to the brown wire at pin A.

if the window does work in one direction, it is usually the switch.

but yes, I got the same schematic as john lenko.

not necessarily true. mine went all the way down no problem. when it was time to go up it'd go up a few inches and then i'd have to wait a few hours. then a few more inches...so on.

it was always the motor. i did all 4 window motors AT LEAST twice in the 4 years i owned the car. i got to the point where i could remove the door panel, change the motor, and put it back together in under 15 minutes.
