I have a 2000 2.2L cavalier coupe and when i take left turns or go over certain bumps i hear a screeching sound. Could it be the wheel bearing? BTW it's not the brakes because when i apply pressure to them they don't make any noise.
no ideas? i need help guys
if the noise goes away when you hit the pedal sounds like you are on the squeelers, meaning you need pads.
Sorry i didn't mean it in regards like that the sound only occurs when i turn. If i were to hit the brakes while turning the sound still happens until i either stop or come out of the turn.
bearings usually make a growling noise. but they do usually change pitch during a turn.
thanks for the input, it should help
