So after I put on my road magnets, I have had a noise in the front end. Whenever I drive, I have noticed a sound like a flat spot in my tire. I have had 2 different sets of wheels and tired on the car and it still does it. It makes the noise more when I turn the wheel to the left. Has anyone else had a noise like this before? My father seems to think that it's possibly the axle.

Just a curious question for you, Does it sound like rubbing sound or squish sound @ low speeds?.
it sounds like a thumping sound that gets faster as you speed up. it's not a strut mount, another person I talked to thought it was a wheel bearing.

I second the wheel bearing.
Axles are 99% clickety click sounds.
Bearings are usually bumpety bump sounds.
So after a lil research, I found that my 89 beretta GT parts car in the back yard uses the same wheel bearings as the cav. So I am gonna try them out and see if they make any improvement. Worth a shot, and doesn't really cost me much of anything.

LOL well, used wheel bearings are not typically a good idea, esp since you're pulling them from a car thats been sitting for awhile in one spot and hasnt really moved probably. But it may work for this instance. I dont knowif the cavalier has the same bearing type as my 02 ZX-2 i used to have, but if it does you cant replace just the bearings, gotta buy the whole spindle. I had a few of those go out...all under warranty thank God ($350 P/L or so each time IIRC)

It's changed, it was the drivers side bearing that was bad. I used the one off the beretta and there was a big difference, and no noise. The bearing on the beretta was a fairly new one from the looks of it as well. The beretta also does get movement around the yard. I don't like to let things just sit in the same spot forever.
