I dont know why or whats causing it...but my ABS light comes on randomly and stays on. Then when i get where i am going, shut off the car, I get back in it to start it after a few minutes, and the light is out...it then stays out for a couple of days. I'm very confused, when the light is on, ABS works. When the light is off, ABS works. What the hell is causing it and what does it mean? It is driving me nuts!

Sounds to me youre ABS wheel sensors are either dirty they need to be cleaned or wiring could be messed. I think it its really expensive, to replace the Abs sensors.
dirty is a real possibility...
I will pull and clean at some point in the future i guess. What can i use to clean them? Just reg brake parts cleaner and a rag?

lol nice "search" joshua, i do agree that most of the times its the wire, i have the same problem and though i havent repaired yet, lol, what i have been doing for a couple of months its moving the wire on my front right sensor until it stops turning my light on and so it last a few weeks till i have to move the cable again, i guess ill fix it one of these days cuz i really hate to see the light on.
yeah its kind of a pain in my ass...i dunno, just dont like having lights on the dash.
