Hey guys... here's the problem my Cluster and HVAC lights don't light up and my horn doesn't work in my 99 Sunfire SE
The fuses have been checked and work fine, the cluster lights work if I tap into my orange wire from my stereo.
I think a wire has come loose from the fuse box. I have tested the fuse box using a test light... it doesn't light up at the instrument lamps fuse and at the horn.
The Horn makes a clicking noise (relay) from underneath the dash, fuse is fine, but test light doesn't light up at the fuse.
So basically I think for both of these a wire has been disconnected at the fuse level. Tell me what you guys think...
Also what would be the best way to get behind the fuse box and look at the connection. Thanks alot guys.
I have the same problem on my 99 Sunfire SE. I also do not have any rear tail lights.
Did you check all the fuses even the ones under the hood? I heard thats usually the case if your tail lights are out as well... If all your fuses are good even the ones under the hood, then I would check the wiring, make sure to check the fuse boxes using a test light... Just to make sure.
