OBD1 code list
Wednesday, December 03, 2008 5:26 AM
I've searched and I'm not getting anything.... and im pretty sure the "what your CEL means" sticky is full of OBD2 codes.

I only found one place on the net with a list, and it's not correct.... it shows code 12 being an actual code, when I know that it just signals the beginning and end of the check proccess, so I cant trust any of it.

Does anyone have an OBD1 code list they can post up.

I posted the list in the sticky above..... but since I'm bored, I'll repost a sticky worthy post telling people everything they need to know, and leave it up to the mods to decide if it's sticky worthy or not.

keep in mind that hte codes do change ever so slightly for eac differing vehicle platform & model year...

the only definative way of knowing what the cades are pointing to is to buy a GM service manual for your specific model/year car... the cheapest way of buying the manuals, are to find them at a swap meet, or on eBay.
