I have a 96 sunfire with the 2.2ohv the last few days ive been having problems starting it. I would turn the key and nothing happens. I would have to turn it 3 times before it fires up. it wouldn't turn over or even make a sound. The lights come on the radio works and everything and the volt meter for the battery shows it has a charge. What could it be? Could the starter be going on it? Thanks in advance for your help.

your starter is on its way out .. replace the starter and you should not have a problem.
