call a locksmith is about the only thing I can suggest.

hopefully you have a spare key and leave it in your trunk and go about your business till you can afford a locksmith.

I fixed it myself... thank god I'm a girl and have an endless supply of bobby pins laying around. Just in case you were wondering, I stripped the plastic off the bobby pin, bent the end in a tiny 120 degree angle, and sat in a snowbank for 15 minutes until I caught the bottom of the key with the bobby pin. I then took needle nose pliers and grabbed it when it came out.

nice that you were creative enough to find a way to get it out, I seriously would have gone the spare key route. Do you not have the remote trunk popping button?

the other option to removing the broken key from th trunk is to pop off the electric trunk pop mechanism end (there are 2 clips)

in the center there is a whole just slide the bobby pin through there (yes i carry a pack of bobby pins in my center console they come in handy for removing slivers and such and also a great alternative to actually buying a new glove box lid to stop it from rattling
