just wondering where the starter is located its a 2003 2.2 cav, went to go start it for m trip today and it seems to be froze up and not engageing just spinning.. any tips? i was just gonna give it a tap

is it the starter that came in the car? or is it a new one? if it's new make sure it's installed properly. If it's the stocker then you might wana check ur flywheel u could of lost a tooth and it's not hitting the gap. That happend to me on my old J. And the starter is on the bottom FRONT side of the motor
the starter is stock, im bringing it into my naibours garage, if that doesnt work im gonna try and jump start it

Resurrected, i thought that's where it was seems to me when i had mine done. After i lost mine, to my ongoing hard start prob in the winter that they told me it was down along the bottom somewhere i do remember them saying it was in a really unique area.
got her going about 9 hrs ago now made my trip with no probs. i jump started my car and didnt turn it off till the journey was complete.. i think it was just froze up cause it starts fine
