Went out to the car after returning from the store and car wouldnt start. Popped the hood and found the engine harness thats in from of the radiator cut in half along with a vacume line. Have no clue how this happened but looks like it could have been caught in the cooling fan. There are about 15 to 20 cut wires and didnt know if this can be spliced back together or would it be a harness change. Thanks for any info.
you can connect it back together for sure but keep in mind there may be wires of the same colour so you will have to trace them and see where they go to insure you are hooking the right wire up in the right spot
might be best to find a new harness might be faster for you to change that out then to trace the wires to the PCM aswell the sensor

I would just splice them back together. But there is no way the cooling fan cut through those. In the front of the car, the wiring harness is tucked in beneath the radiator support bar, and wrapped in heavy plastic....At least my '99 Z24 is....

I thought the same thing but it wasnt tied back right, prob from previous owner. The plastic was shredded along with the wires and I have no other clue how it happened. I have tried to find a harness but no luck so far. Probably gonna splice and than try and find a new harness. Thanks for the help.
